The Macoupin County Fair and Agricultural Association is
currently making plans for the 163rd Edition of the Oldest County Fair in
Illinois. The 2015 Fair is sure to be exciting with lots of entertainment
and agricultural displays for the entire family. New to the 2015 fair will
be a Meat Goat Show. More information with be coming soon.
The 2015 Macoupin County Fair will be held June 14-20, 2015. Volunteers are always welcome.

The Macoupin County
Fair & Agricultural Association announced Wednesday that the schedule of
fair week events has been changed due to the current weather pattern and
• Mud Drags at the Grandstand for Thursday, June 18 have been cancelled
• ITPA Tractor and Truck Pulls for Friday, June 19 have been cancelled
• Western Horse Show for Saturday, June 20 has been cancelled
The rest of the events slated for fair week are still taking place as scheduled.
ATTENTION BEEF, SWINE, SHEEP AND GOAT
EXHIBITORS- CHECK IN AND RELEASE TIMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED FOR THE 2015
Swine: All swine must be checked in by Monday, June 15 at 8p.m. Weigh in will take place on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. The swine show will be Wednesday, June 17. All swine will be eligible for release on Thursday, June 18 at 8:00 p.m.
Beef: All beef must be checked in by Wednesday, June 17 at 8 a.m. Steers will be weighted at 11 A.M on Thursday, June 18. The beef show will be Friday, June 19. All cattle will be eligible for release on Saturday, June 20 at 8 a.m.
Sheep: All sheep must be checked in by Sunday, June 14 at noon. Weigh in will be Tuesday, June 16th at 8 a.m. The sheep show will take place Tuesday, June 16th. All sheep will be eligible for release Tuesday, June 16th at 5 p.m.
Meat Goats: Goats must be checked in by Wednesday, June 15 at 6 p.m.. The Goat show will take place on Saturday, June 20th. All Goats will be eligible for release Saturday at 6 p.m.

The Macoupin County Fair and Agricultural Association announced today it is seeking interested civic and community oriented organizations to staff the beer tent on the fairgrounds north of Carlinville during the Macoupin County Fair to be held June 15-20.
Interested groups would be asked to staff one of three available nights serving drinks to patrons of the fair. Available dates are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 18, 19, and 20, 2015. In return for their services the group would receive a donation from the Fair Board. Deadline for entry is Friday, April 17, 2015. Once the applications have been received the Beer Tent Committee of the Fair Board will review the applications and hold a lottery of eligible applicants to determine the selection.
